What To Expect
Upon arriving at East Hampton Chiropractic, our friendly and courteous staff will give you a comprehensive history form to fill out. (you may download this form from this website to save you time.) This form will ask you for information on your current symptom, as well as general health information that may be useful in determining your treatment recommendations. Upon completing this form, Dr. Connelly will discuss the history of your condition with you and answer any questions you may have. Following the history portion of your visit, Dr. Connelly will perform a complete chiropractic examination which will include ranges of motion, palpation (evaluating the spine by touch), and orthopedic and neurological tests. If necessary, your examination will be followed by X-rays, which will be taken in our office. After an analysis of the X-Rays and examination findings, Dr. Connelly will review his findings with you and show you any X-Rays that were taken. He will explain your problem, and tell you if, and exactly how he can help you. If your condition is not correctable by Chiropractic, or needs further evaluation by a different type of specialist, a referral will be made immediately.
When you decide to be treated, Dr. Connelly will use one or more of the several techniques he practices to gently and effectively treat your condition. Many of the techniques Dr. Connelly uses are listed in the services page of this website. He will explain any technique prior to performing it. Along with in office treatments, Dr. Connelly will provide you with exercises and educate you on how to prevent spinal injuries.
About The Doctor
Dr. Patrick Connelly is originally from Hamden, CT. He received his Bachelor's Degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University in Marietta, GA.
Upon completing his studies, Dr. Connelly practiced for over 4 years in Washington, D.C.'s foremost Chiropractic Practice under the guidance of the President of the Washington, D.C. Chiropractic Association. While practicing in Washington, Dr. Connelly gained vast experience treating patients of all ages. He has treated politicians, professional atheletes, professional ballet dancers, and the general public. Dr. Connelly worked with Washington's top Orthopedic and Neurosurgeons to help rehabilitate post-surgical patients, and often prevent the need for spinal surgery. Dr. Connelly has sucessfully treated conditions ranging from back pain, neck pain, and headaches to severe disc injureis.
Dr. Connelly now is the sole practiotioner at East Hampton Chiropractic.
